Come for a Family Free evening of relaxation, a little bit of history and some wonderful Appalachian music. This is a very special gathering to highlight the history of Virginia’s Appalachian music and stories as told by the Junior Appalachian Musicians and their traditional instruments. Carla Fosbre and Kimberly Burnette-Dean will start the program with an exhibition of their beautiful mountain dulcimers. Learn how our European ancestors started playing music in these mountains and how it is still flourishing today! Light refreshments will be provided.
